Skanlika Ltd is an international Employment and Recruitment Agency.
One of our main activities is recruitment of skilled personnel for steel production, house construction, ship repairs and other sectors: tradesmen (steel welders, assemblers, insulation fitters, laggers, brick layers) and semi skilled labour. You can find our staff supplied by Skanlika in United Kingdom, Finland, Norway and Ireland.
Our office is located in Klaipeda, seaport of Lithuania. Due local steel production, shipyard industries in the port we have access to the best technical skilled labour. Our database contains experienced candidates from across Lithuania and other Eastern European countries (Latvia, Estonia, Poland, etc). All our personnel are citizens of European Union, which makes hiring and employing them in EU countries simple.
Our live database includes the most requested personnel: welders (TIG, MMA, MIG/MAG), pipe fitters, steel fabricators , plumbers, laggers and insulation fitters, painters, brick layers and other candidates. All workers are available for permanent or temporary assignments.

Skanlika is a member of the Klaipėda Chamber of Commerce and Lithuanian Association of Temporary Employment Agencies. Membership in the British Chamber of Commerce pending.
Services We Offer
Skanlika offers a full range of recruitment and employment services.
- Personnel hire – personnel is posted to work on long or short term assignments across EU and full responsibility is taken for payroll and personnel management while Client determines work duration and provides working instructions on site. Individual workers as well as teams are immediately available.
- Recruitment – scanning of database for candidates that match your criteria and send their CV’s for your consideration. All candidates are pre-screened and verified.
- Subcontracting – hiring work teams or companies which can serve as subcontractors for your projects. We make sure that subcontracting teams and companies have necessary certificates, are reliable and have English speaking employees.

How We Select?
At Skanlika we take every step to ensure that you have only the most reliable personnel. Before we enlist the candidates in our database, we take the following steps:
- Meet each candidate personally and interview him;
- Test English language proficiency and offer language tutoring;
- Check background and references;
- Check/arrange health and professional certificates;
- Verify certificates and work experiences;
- Test English language proficiency and offer language tutoring;
- Arrange necessary training (professional and language proficiency).
We provide our clients with selected candidates’ CVs, certificates and documentation verifying work experience and qualifications. All documents can be sent via email or faxed. If the Client would like to schedule a phone interview with personnel before hiring, we will arrange that.
